Board Members are selected from a wide spectrum of community interests which include family businesses and service agency professionals. It is important for us to have the benefit of a wide variety of opinions and expertise regarding the many and varied issues and decisions that must be discussed.

Responsibilities of the board include:

• Participation in an orientation to the corporation (new board members)
• Attendance at monthly board meetings
• Participation on one of the Board Committees:
• Finance
• Long Range Planning
• Human Rights
• Participation in fundraising activities.
• Participation in discussion of finances, programming, etc.
• Approval of annual budget.
• Assistance in evaluating the type and quality of services being provided to the individuals we serve.
• Awareness of potential issues and trends in rehabilitation.
