February 15, 2006 - Life-Skills, Inc. and the Worcester Tornadoes Partner to Support the Disabled in Worcester and Central MA
Through their partnership with the Worcester Tornadoes, Life-Skills will be able to re-name their upcoming multi-agency invitational softball tournament fundraiser, being held in cooperation with the Center of Hope and Rehabilitative Resources, Inc., the Tornadoes Invitational Softball Tournament.

The preliminary rounds of hte annual tournament will be held in various locations throughout Southern and Northern Worcester County, on July 15th and 22nd. The Worcester Tornadoes have offered their home field, Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field, on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross, for the finals on Saturday, July 29, 2006.

In addition, the Worcester Tornadoes will be supporting Life-Skills two 2006 golf tournaments (May 15th at the Woods of Westminster and June 3 at Leicester Country Club), their pre-tournament online auction, and promotion of their Big Fat Cookie Company (these cookies are baked and marketed by developmentally disabled adults).
Life-Skills will hold a special Support for the Disabled Nights at Fitton Field, will promote this partnership in all of their program centers, and will assist the Tornadoes organization in their other charitable efforts.
